The adoption of digital technologies in education has significantly transformed teaching and learning methodologies. In Basic General Education (BGE), interactive tools like Padlet have proven to be effective in enhancing student collaboration, creativity, and engagement. This essay examines the impact of Padlet in BGE, highlighting its benefits, challenges, and practical examples of its application in the classroom. BGE encompasses education from the initial stages to the end of primary school, aiming to provide a solid foundation of essential knowledge and skills. Despite advances in educational access, BGE faces challenges such as a lack of resources, high dropout rates, and inequalities in educational quality. Educational technology has evolved significantly, moving from basic tools to mobile devices and interactive applications that facilitate collaborative and personalized learning. Padlet is a web application that allows users to create and share virtual walls, integrating text, images, links, and videos. Its features include design customization, content moderation, and secure sharing of walls. In the classroom, Padlet is used for brainstorming sessions, collecting student work, and collaborative projects. Its benefits include improved collaboration, creativity, and student participation, although effective implementation requires overcoming technological challenges and teacher adaptation.
